Is there really such a thing as subliminal messages and do some companies do subliminal advertising? The answer to both questions is yes.
Don’t be fooled by people who quote the guy who said he sold more popcorn and coke at the movies tho. People continually cite James Vicary and the movie theater when discussing subliminals or stating how effective they are.
Vicary admitted the whole thing was a hoax a couple of years later. Does this mean subliminals don’t work? Nope, just means he lied about it.

It’s title is: Outwitting The Devil: The Secret to Freedom and Success. This is a landmark book in many respects as it explains in an easily read — and often quite funny — approach how most people manage to become their own worst enemies. If you want to learn why you may not be able to make much headway with your goals in life, this book will probably give you some insight. It’s a fabulous book that everybody should read.
